I always eat a breakfast consisting proteins!
WHY?!
This is for different reasons.
Protein is the building block of the muscle, and your body can't store excess amounts of if. As you can with carbohydrates and fat. So after a night of sleep - while the body have been doing some muscle-reparing work - you need proteins! At least if you want to keep your muscles strong and healthy ;)
Also, reasearch showes that by consuming a high protein as you first meal, it reduces hunger through the day.
I will also recomend to eat some fat in this meal, this makes it more easy for your body to use fat as a energy source the rest of the day. (Yes, from your fat deposits!) To burn fat you need to eat fat! :)
Today I wanted ground beef! So the way I do it then, is to first frie it til it's almost done, before I boil it, and then I rinse it! This is to get rid of the fat! Remember, you want to eat from clean sources!
After this, put it in the pan again! Now you also got rid of most of the salt!
To add some flavour, I put some smoked ham in it :) - almost tastes like bacon when you frie it ;)
Then some tomatoes, to add more flavours, and it doesnt get dry ;)
In the end, add some olives, olive oil and garlic :D yummy yummy snacks!
Then you have a meal consisting of protein, healthy fat and good flavour :D Try it!!
BTW! Today me and Emil did the first intervall session of the week!
30 sec on, 30 sec of - 8 times, then moderat intensity for 15 minutes :)
Not what my body is used to, to say it that way!
Nice and sweaty!
